the genesis

one man played jazz so hard he became legendary and stayed that way . the man is KB . the keyboard is real . the cat is not . the world renders him as a grey cartoon cat in a fedora and sunglasses playing saxophone . username: jazz cigarettes @jazzpiller . bio: industry plant .

the site (jazzcigarettes.com) already transmitted the world: the fake institutions, the hypnosis loop, the blue screens, the 2am typos, the crude register . the show borrows that transmission and never winks at it . the store and the show are one universe: the site said the walls remember . the show makes the walls visible .

the origin story is KB's own, rendered as composites on screen: the gice conservatory, TPunk learns the whole concert the day of, the leader calls him mvp in front of the class, a credentialed peer grades him down, the invoice keeps scrolling . i knew i'ma profit, and nobody knew . he walks out to the corner and renames himself .

adult swim format . episodes 10 to 13 minutes . played completely straight . nobody on screen knows it is funny . isaac's renders are the reference . 3d memes you can walk through .

the cast

the two cycles

the legend cycle (the a story): he plays . he ascends the day-to-day . he gets lost in the smoke and becomes more legendary . he reaches for the impossible thing . he comes down . he finds dolly . every episode is one turn . every season closes on a rename, not a resolution . season 1: TPunk becomes jazz cigarettes . the cycle repeats its shape, never its notes . the two loops run opposite directions: gice is pathologic periodicity . the legend cycle compounds presence .

the gice cycle (the b story, the jargon absorbing everything): badges, notifications, consent dialogs, quarterly earnings, a task force that never reaches quorum . gice as tokens: a token is a quantized fragment of the continuous . the board is a 3x3 softmax . the jazz world renders the continuous, the gice world renders it quantized, and the seam is the joke .

the state of the show (2026-10-18)

• shipped: bible v0.3 plus three addenda (winslow and the hotel, eliza the wife, gice as tokens) . the craft laws and the metagrammar . the 45-shot 2:51 trailer manifest . the four-step pipeline (voices . build . lipsync . perform . score . render) . voice and dialogue exports . the episode ladder T through 12 .
